t2 blu is overexposed would not get any detail back. as the the audio it almost blew my speakers

So basically for the Special Edition scenes I'd be better off upscaling from the DVD, right?

If the Special Edition gets a 4K release. And even if it does, at present ripping footage from 4K discs is pretty damn tough, if not downright impossible, with today's technology.

I just saw the 3d trailer colors looks much better than blue and likely he 4k will come with a bluray
Just saw these. The first one is a bit shoddy on the quality, second is a bit crazy edited but makes for interesting viewing.

I am pretty sure the first squeeze has the original colour timing, but would the framing not be an issue for colour matching?

No the first squeeze is an error. It's probably from an uncolor corrected source.

It's totally corrected, and it's got the correct framing.
Never noticed that before. There is no way the other lasers are correct, they just look desaturated by comparison |
