Looking for the "right" Terminator 2 color grading...
Cameron asked this one to be withdrawn and reissued THX approved. Trust me, it was an accident. It's off in many instances in regard to the actual film in theaters.

Too bad he just doesn't seem to understand that DVNR and sharpness do not a good THX film make, though he does appear to have gotten the color right.

And he has never revised colour timing?
I don't see him as the yardstick for what is correct personally.
It came from a different master to all previous discs and was obviously watching on old display tech.
The master used looks like an ip or even a release print to me.
The colour is way more natural, look at the bike Chase it's in the hot L.A. sunshine and it's finally warm and lightly coloured as it was

Can't say if the first Squeeze LD has the *right* color grading; personally, I like it very much, and it's for sure one of a kind, and I think it should merit a preservation on its own.

Plus the framing is correct Vs the other disc I tried

Of course it warrant a preserv since it's different! But some of the color is off, I think it probably shows in some scenes how the film was shot instead of how the film was intended.

Cameron always tweaked his masters for home video, it's not news. Only in this instance, it's a print that went loose.
