Sorry guys, it was late (I'm working nights) and my bed was calling me. BTW PILF-2555 was the second squeeze laserdisc (the THX one). You can see the MUSE has slightly better resolution and the squeeze has more picture information on the sides, the OP on lddb comments on this in the thread.

That's how I saw it in theatres.
Well, I saw an Open Mate version back in the day, because I remember the Future War battle showing more stuff then what's shown in the LTBX release. One scene stuck forever: You see a T-800 on the ground and then get shot by some soldiers. In my theatrical version you actually saw them kill the T-800. In the LTBX version the "camera" pans up.

Uh what? I also heard from one guy about a scene cut from T2 where Arnold goes "SHUUUUUTTTT UUPPPP!!!"
Of course it's from Kindergaten Cop.

There was no open matte theater showing, anywhere.

Anyone here a member of lddb? A member there has built an epic rig to capture MUSE hi-vision laserdiscs and he's running a poll to determine which title get capped first. T2 is on the shortlist

Does he intend to make full conversions of the LDs (e.g. to DVD) or just grab the audio? I'd vote for T2 as well, but I'm not joining just to vote. The last thing I need is another forum...
