He's doing full audio/video captures Chew.

Thanks! It's great to hear that people are getting back into full conversions of LDs. I'd love to see some of the Connery Bonds.

I think his emphasis is on MUSE Hi-Vision titles, he's built the rig especially to accommodate their idiosyncrasies.

Ah, I see. Still, perhaps he'll capture some others as well.

BTTF would be useful to get a higher-resolution "To Be Continued..." for HD projects to use; the MUSE disc is the highest-definition version to have it. But T2 should come first.

Not sure about the source of these, but they're not 'official' as far as I know. Could be from the 3D as there's no grain (or they could be optimised for youtube). I think the green tint is a colour space thing (like when the first trailer landed)

Yes the clips are fake, their not from an official source, and looks to be the old master doctored. Remember youtube pays for views so people are ready for anything to have some views and earn some dough.

The framing is not the same either: http://screenshotcomparison.com/comparison/217407
One thing is certain though, they both look very bad. So if someone can achieve an almost identical look using basic DNRing tools, it sounds like this reissue does not come from a new transfer. |
