Not sure if the shots with hardsubs could use the letterbox version to get rid of them...

I discovered that there's a 1.78 version of Home Alone on YT that uses the BD master but shows more top and bottom. Would be useful to go with the 1.78 WEB-DL of the first movie going around on the Russian trackers.
iTunes Japan has Dangerous Liaisons and going by the trailer (that actually has a 3 min preview of the beginning of the movie), its the BD transfer opened up to 1.37 (as opposed to 1.78 as the BD and most other copies).

I can confirm that 16:9 versions of the Austin Powers films exist as Web-DLs and possibly HDTV.

I have a copy of a Analyze This DVD featuring both the open matte and theatrical aspect
edit: I have a comparison shot but don't know how to add it to my post, apparently dragging it here isn't the right method
