#91
None of those trailers 2 have the audio in sync. This is all confusing.

Here is a test showing the original BD on the top, the BD regraded to the LD and the BD regraded to DVD:

Still a lot of work to do on it but you can see the differences.

DVD or LD? You could go either way. They both look good. Without knowing how it's meant to look I still give the color timing of the LD a slight edge. That's just my personal preference.

I'm liking the LD more, just some not all, of the sky shots on the LD have blown whites.

Sadly, LD has blown whites... I'd go with DVD, just a bit brighter, to be in between DVD and LD... as much as my opinion could count, with an unoptimized monitor, by the way! Big Grin

Thanks guys for the advice. I'm leaning towards LD myself. I like the look overall a little better but it close. I assume by blown whites, you guys are talking about things like this:

BD\BD-LD\BD-DVD

if so the LD is like that also. There are a few shots that have the sky blown out in the LD that aren't blown out in the DVD, like I posted on page seven:

But for the most part they are close were both sometimes have blow out skies unlike the BD:

So I was thinking, use the LD as the base but fix the skies in the shots that differ from the DVD but keep the skies the same where the LD and DVD agree. What do you guys think?

PDB, it's up to you... but please, try to avoid, as long as it possible, blown whites (and crushed blacks, if present)! Wink
