Ugh, I've seen The Terminator with a crowd twice and both times it was just a DCP. I even got a refund when this one place said it was gonna be a 35mm screening, and the day of the show the website said "DCP". I called them up and got my money back.

I've seen it twice on 35mm but it was the 2001 remastered print with revised audio sound effects. wasn't anything special.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read somewhere (a long time ago) that the reason Cameron changed the sound effects in T1 was so that they matched the sound effects of T2. Can anyone confirm this? Either way, after reading that I decided to do the same thing, reversed, for Terminator 2:

So there this guy on YT who does a channel that is all T2, T2forShow.

He posted an interesting video where he reviews the french dub from a VHS.

Of most interest is that the french VHS is from a french print, complete with french localised credits so not the masters used in the UK or US at the time.

As I mentioned previously, the cigar biker bar scene at the Corral Lounge, is thus preserved as it was initially, timed in blue instead of brown as it become when T2 landed on video. That was the biggest change Cameron made after the film release back then.
