Oof. That was messy.
Not to feed the troll but is the “20th Anniversary Edition” the Book of the Dead DVD release, which was center-cropped to widescreen? I also think the Ultimate Edition DVD had the same transfer…

This web page implies that the Book of the Dead edition and standard DVD version (with large Green text) are the 2002 master. So may have just been a weird name for it. Guessing you both have that one @MrBrown and @dvdmike

Was the open matte transfer on the Ultimate Edition this version opened up, or something new entirely? But, to get back to the actual original point, I'm not sure that the color timing of that release is accurate...Doesn't match the vintage sources.
