Bumpitty, bump bump.
Anything you fellas want to add? Since it's been a while, I sure do.
I had discovered the HD-DVDs of the Rambo flicks use the same masters as the BDs, but II strangely has the TriStar logo with the Carolco Jingle on the DD+ English track. I guess the only way to find this one is if we get lucky and stumble upon a 35mm print from Europe that someone would scan for ether preservation or for lost theatrical dubbings.
On the other hand, some recent releases including those from Olive, KL, Arrow, and Shout/Scream have been goldmines for extremely rare and long unseen logos, thanks to new (ish or er) transfers being performed.
I have also found streaming providers (especially Amazon Prime Video) to be another excellent source for some of these in really nice quality. I had also grabbed a Japanese BD of The Talented Mr Ripely that not only contains a (1080i) transfer completely different than any other DVD/BD/HDTV source out there, but sports a rare Miramax International logo that i've never seen before preceding the original Paramount cards.

Bump once again:
In the past month, I had stumbled upon a YT channel by the name of The EricCorpLogoChannel, who had uploaded some really AND I MEAN REALLY rare logos findings. Ones that caught my eye were the 1970s Hemdale "script" logos, which according to CLG Wiki ( http://www.closinglogos.com/page/Hemdale...orporation) are classified under near extinction. His descriptions on these two https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnQ7gWI_efA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoWfRU_CPks mention they came from Amazon Prime versions of The Triple Echo and The Amazing Mr Blunden respectively. I had found the two on Amazon Prime US, with Filmrise logos preceding respectively, so his findings are indeed legitimate and worth checking out his channel if you're into finding rare indents.
Later on BD.com, I had also discovered a UK label called Indicator/Powerhouse Films has just put out a Blu-ray release utilizing a 2k remaster from the OCN. I know sometimes distributors logos are not on the negatives of titles they merely handled. Going in with low expectations, I inquired about it on the Powerhouse thread and surprisingly and Indiactor rep says https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.php?p...ount=10836

That's awesome! I am an avid original logo lover. I've actually been seeking certain New Line logos for replacing updated ones on some films and last night found what I was looking for after some research. I found with New Line (and many other companies) they may have the same intro for years but subtle differences that you'd only notice if you really knew the history of some intros.
Not that New Line logos are rare as hell... but these days it does take some cash and research to track down an exact intro at times. Sometimes I have to view a VHS or hope someone on youtube uploaded the VHS opening.
Speaking of Hemdale, Have you ran across this intro (go to 1:30) in HD:

I'm not sure how often or long they used that intro but this was from 1989. I have no idea if it is in HD or to be found anywhere on Blu-ray.

Ha! I just found the answer myself. The Blu-Ray release from Kino Lorber of Miracle Mile (1988) has that Hemdale logo in HD. Has a great PQ review too. I just ordered it for the logo alone. Extreme maybe.... but I roll that way.

That Hemdale logo you seek (actually used from 1987 until the early 1990s) is super easy to find. I know for Miracle Mile definitely has it, as well as BDs of At Close Range, Vincent and Theo, Shag, The Boost, and several other Hemdale titles that escape me right now.
As for New Line Cinema, original indents are resurfacing on several recent Warner Archive & Shout Factory BDs, all thanks to using new restorations. I know for a fact that the WA BDs of Texas Chainsaw Massacre III and The Hidden restore their original New Line Cinema logos, as well as on the SF releases of Man's Best Friend, The Street Fighter Collection for the old skool "flashing strobes" logo, and Critters + Critters II in the Critters collection set.
If you seek a certain logo, give me exactly what you're looking for and I could ether point you to the right direction or already have it in my collection.

Yes, I own the Critters box from Shout but what I didn't like was 3 and 4 replaced their original intros. Since 1 and 2 were fresh scans they retained their original intros, but I had to find another Blu-ray source for 3 and 4 and I did last night.
As for the Hemdale I seek, I found it on Miracle Mile but the music is absent. Do you know if one of the other blu-rays you mentioned has the same music over the intro like in the video I linked? Shag has it removed and that is actually why I needed it.

Do you have the MGM DVD of Shag? I know that one uses a different print which had it removed, while I heard it was restored on the Olive Films BD and DVD.
For the version with jingle, I know for sure At Close Range, The Boost, and Chattahoochee have it. The BD of the former is super expensive thanks to it being a Twilight Time release (but sometimes comes up streaming for free on Tubitv, Vudu, and Prime), while the latter two were put out by Olive Films and are readily available.

I own the Olive Blu-ray of Shag and the Hemdale logo is removed. Just has the MGM intro with the .com under it if I remember right.

Sucks that 3 and 4 were just the older HD masters with updated NL indents, but at least the 1st two were new scans. I also forgot to mention the Scream Factory BD of The Lawnmower Man (which was licensed from the producers as Warner's rights had expired) has the 1987-94 NL logo, and SF's The Mangler BD restores the 1st version of the 1995 logo with the Turner byline.

Yes, I actually bought Lawnmower Man last night to fix Critters 3 and 4. The films look fine but the new intros bug me. Also the New Line logo in question had a few variations and can easily be mixed up. After the logo spins into place and New Line Cinema pops under it, The letters line up ever so slightly different on films after 1988 I believe. Critters 2 has the 1st version while Lawnmower man has the 2nd slightly changed version. Which is the perfect Critters 3 and 4 version. Jason Goes to Hell also had this same intro removed from the DVD and Blu-ray.
