For Hemdale w jingle, I'm surer the BDs of Criminal Law and Hidden Agenda also have it since I saw streaming prints with them.

Sucks that 3 and 4 were just the older HD masters with updated NL indents, but at least the 1st two were new scans. I also forgot to mention the Scream Factory BD of The Lawnmower Man (which was licensed from the producers as Warner's rights had expired) has the 1987-94 NL logo, and SF's The Mangler BD restores the 1st version of the 1995 logo with the Turner byline.

Yes, I actually bought Lawnmower Man last night to fix Critters 3 and 4. The films look fine but the new intros bug me. Also the New Line logo in question had a few variations and can easily be mixed up. After the logo spins into place and New Line Cinema pops under it, The letters line up ever so slightly different on films after 1988 I believe. Critters 2 has the 1st version while Lawnmower man has the 2nd slightly changed version. Which is the perfect Critters 3 and 4 version. Jason Goes to Hell also had this same intro removed from the DVD and Blu-ray.

In that case, The Hidden should have the 1987 version, while SF's Mans Best Friend BD, the Warner Archive BD of TCM III, and the Lionsgate BD of Glengarry Glen Ross should have the post 1988 version.

Thanks for all that info, it has helped me find the Hemdale logo with jingle and I will restore that next week to Shag. I have a Warner intro question now, it is the National Lampoon's Vacation intro. I also need that in HD, do you happen to know right off where that is available? Creepshow has a very similar one but the "presents" fades in a tad bit later as to where Vacation's version of "presents" fades in with the "A Warner Communications Company" lettering. Hope that made sense.

Never have I thought this logo would pop up somewhere in HD, nonetheless proper scanned from a 35/16mm print and not some shitty upscale from a old TV recording.

The up-loader says it comes from Ninja War Lord (1973), which happens to be available to rent/purchase on Amazon in HD!! Best $10 ever spent IMO!

That's very similar to the music RCA used for their CED format!

They're the same tune indeed, which is actually a classical music piece called Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky. The rendition on the World Northal/WW logo sounds like it was done on a moog sounding synthesizer quick and cheap, while the version on the RCA Videodisc logo is edited from this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVvQQMrEUzQ

Bump once again, but this one is a major discovery.

A YT channel by the name of LogoArchive had recently found the ultra rare 1996-2001 UIP logo in a combo with Beyond and Mushroom Pictures logos. He claimed it comes off a BD rip of the 2000 Australian Horror/Comedy, Cut. I then later discovered that Umbrella Entertainment just put out the movie on BD utilizing a 4k remaster of an IP (possibly a UK one as UIP wasn't mentioned on the Australian poster nor IMDB for some odd reason).

Having recently purchased a copy of the Umbrella BD off Amazon, I can say LA was correct and now I posses a lossless copy of

EDIT & UPDATE: It turns out upon looking very closely at this poster https://www.timelessmoviemagic.co.uk/cut...5309-p.asp that UIP were indeed the Australian distributor, even though I didn't see their logo on posters of other Beyond Films titles of the period. I'm not sure if it got a theatrical release or even a straight to DVD affair in the UK, but it seems going by IMDB that European distribution was scattered between TF1 and Columbia-TriStar Film Distributors.

I also discovered Trimark gave Cut a limited US theatrical release then straight to DVD. Having seen a low quality potato cam opening on YT, that release goes straight to the opening credits so no UIP, Beyond, or Mushroom logos there. With that mentioned, there's streaming versions of Cut on sites like Amazon and Itunes that have Lionsgate as the provide. The LG streaming master seems to use a native HD version of the transfer used on the Trimark DVD, though unsurprisingly it tacks on the mid-2000s era Lionsgate logo to the start while still omitting the UIP/Beyond/Mushroom combo discovered on the AUS BD.

I've been looking for a high quality version of the 1987-2003 theatrical logo for UK company Entertainment Film Distributors.

They used an altered version for a lot of their home releases, and it's easy to find, but I've not seen the Theatrical version. I've found a few videos of it on YouTube but they're all low quality and/or have burned in logos.

I've heard that the Theatrical version of the logo appeared in the 2007 UK DVD of Super Mario Bros, but I haven't confirmed this yet.

Does anyone here have any additional information or leads? I'll report back if I find anything.
Program material is recorded on the other side of this disc...

Good luck finding that one, I've been on the lookout for many years and nada on my side. I was told that the 2007 UK DVD of Super Mario Bros (which is in anamorphic widescreen) uses the same HD transfer as the Second Sight BD and has a Pathe/Hollywood Pictures/Allied Filmmakers combo.

However, I also heard there's an earlier UK and French DVD (both being the same disc in 4:3 letterbox and Eng+Fra tracks) from 2000(?) that has the 1987-2003 Entertainment Film Distributors logo (alongside Allied Filmmakers) seen per the LQ videos.
