I'm honest!
And have not mixed the TVRip (yet?) because: - don't know if could be useful
- can't be done in a one "pass"
- it has BD colors
- it has TV logo
- and first I'd like to have feedbacks on this!

I recommend to use noise and/or gradient about 50 px in OverlayRender for border smoothing between sources.
And especially with single pass use larger values for backwardFrames and forewardFrames (5 and 10 for example). Then pan&scan frames will be aligned more accurate.
And don't use colorAdjust if sources have the same color.

Why is it not possible in one pass? Can't you feed the output of the OverlayRender into another OverlayEngine?
Since strange is not a showkiller, just cut out the part where the logo was and leave it black?
But BD colors might be a problem, heh.

Indeed, doing further tests, using higher noise and gradient value helps (I've used 10 here); also left bw/fw frames as default (3).
The result is nevertheless incredible, thanks a lot again!!!

Gradient is not necessary if sources have the same color. Gradient is usefull for mods 2, 4, 5.
To understand how these parameters work just test it on black and white images like this:
...
OverlayRedner(OM.BlankClip(), WS.BlankClip(color=$FFFFFF), ...)

Well, as the color grading is not perfectly identical, I thought gradient could help!
Back to Matrix 4:3 Vs BD 2.35:1

if I would like to obtain an AAP-AR, with the TV that would fill the vertical dimension when needed, and BD the horizontal dimension when needed, what should I do?

Use mask as there https://fanrestore.com/thread-1922-post-...l#pid38501
If you want also combine it with open matte (3 sources) then firstly merge the two of them as usual and overlay the third with mask of previous two by OverlayRender.mode=6.

I thought to not use the mask, but overlay the BD on top of the TV, to get better details; then, when the BD will not cover the logo, it would stay visible; *maybe* could be removed thanks to HDTV, but I'm afraid of the different colors/contrast...

I kinda doubt the Open Matte would consistently cover the logo. Probably every now and then. A logo that comes and goes ... might just cross the border between strange and irritating.
