I realized that I have gone a bit nut over Terminator releases, lately...
Edit:
I just noticed, that I missed a fourth us LD, that hid itself between some Terminator 2 LDs...

Ho Ho Ho! Is the first widescreen edition US same soundmix as the 1995 THX? It's the only one I think where no rip exists online.

Top right is the German "uncut" (same cut as first german DVD) edition.
Seems if my capturing device and cables are start do get faulty.. The audio that arrived on my PC is unusable.
Edit:
The non THX widescreen seem to have digital and analog 2.0 mono...
At least when switching channels I get the options for left channel, right channel and both...

It’s so faded that I can’t imagine anyone here would bother picking that up despite the price (plus there’s the whole Russian can-of-worms).

Yes I would stay away from those russian prints. MrBrown, time for a new capturing device! They come cheap on ebay.

I've seen worst faded films became pristine, so... then, if it's a good print or not, it's another story...

I'd rather spend $200 to pay Linda Hamilton dinner, we never know I could become father of the savior of humankind myself.

That's fine no harm done. It looks like the Italian SE 2000 disc does though have a mono track... If anyone here have it could you please check?
Also looking for any other foreign dubs to sync (of the mono track) so far all we have is two french tracks and one german.
Something I realised watching the german DE DVD, the tracking shot when T-800 walks towards the house of the first Sarah Connor is stabilised on the remaster. It was very shaky originally which made it look more disturbing rather than smooth and accentued the feeling of unease. The framing is also weird when he gets to the door (wide shot) it's too high in the frame compared to the german print.
