I'm delighted to report that the 5.1 track on the actual disc does indeed appear to be the 70mm mix with none of the added sound effects listed above. Superman hasn't looked or sounded this good since '78.
 The 5.1 track on the rip must just be a folddown of the remix for whatever reason.

Unfortunately I'm not 4K capable and I know the bluray is the old one.

If someone on the admin team can confirm that it's within the rules then I'd be happy to rip the 70mm track and post a link here.

It’s not within the rules sadly. Although if you had posted it, I don’t think anyone would have gotten upset.

No trouble at all. I've now ripped the 70mm 5.1 track. Please drop me a PM if you would like the link.
Note that I haven't checked whether or not it syncs to the theatrical BD. It's just a straight rip from the UHD.

So the original 70mm 5.1 is on the 4K Blu-ray?
