Can you give us some real world examples Stamper?
Like a video or audio file comparing these things. The UHD vs. this 2001 DVD or vs the Aus broadcast? I want to hear what you are talking about since I don't know much about the original Aus mono mix.

I could stitch up together a vid, but need to convert the mpeg2 DVD footage to h264 to do a comparison.
The Australian DVD mono mix could be the same as the US 2001 downmix though, I need to compare more moments to make sure.
Basically the video in the first post, draws out the differences. Unlike some have mentioned, the Australian moments in that video aren't the american dub, they are the true Australian mix as we know it in Europe, as release by Warner on the DVD and on my preserv.
