The Warriors Theatrical Cut German Mediabook
Right, the source of the AU is the same as Amzn version, outside of compression difference, almost identical including cropped framing:

Personally, after checking them all will stick with the DE myself, I know the AU looks to have more grain but in motion looks to sharp for my liking and mainly because of the cropping.

Edit: just thought, will dig out the Director's Cut and see how that one looks.

Edit 2: Dir Cut blu (uncropped) vs AU

Closer to AU for detail but not quite as sharp and without the crop.

Film4 I said is uncropped, only source that is cropped is AMZN and AU.

"Edit: Zoidberg (Film4 UK uncropped) vs Au:

Film4 has a green tinge to color timing and compression issues zoomed in

Thanks, the "zoomed in" bit got me confused LOL. I wonder if an UAR could be possible.

As the AU is just zoomed in and the same underlying transfer it should work but you would need someone like PDB or Random to do it properly as you would need to match both the grain and color timing. I'm curious, don't you find yourself, that the AU looks a little too sharp and processed looking compared with the DE during normal viewing.

Yes, the original scan has never been really good though. So for me it's all sub-par anyway, it's certainly not 4K.

There are some comments on blu-ray.com about the new Arrow Theatrical Cut having the zooms/reframed shots from the Director's Cut.

I saw those comments. wasn't this a scan from the OCN though?

Supposedly yes and those shots weren't in the Imprint theatrical release.
