1h01'14 today, 85%:
It's a challenge to make it look like these 3 shots are from the same environment, an underground parking garage. Especially the Slim Pickens one, as the other two are indeed taken from a dim parking garage:

OK, it's done! Well, not entirely: I still have some color correction to do, replace the All the President's Men shots used in the first half hour, redo the Orson Welles part and try to figure out a way to do some special effects by myself before I surrender to ilovewaterslides, which includes the end credits. And then, I'll have to work on the French, English and description subtitles.
Latest news:
I managed to work out some effects by myself, including the end credits. I also managed to fix a nasty out-of-sync line of dubbing that was on the original and ended up transcoding the audio to LPCM for no further loss because of my audio edit. There are 3 remaining visual effect shots I'll give ilovewaterslides so he can work his magic now that I think I can settle with the color grading I came up with. He might also want to give a shot at creating wavy flashback transitions that I don't have as an option preset in DaVinci Resolve. Meanwhile, I'll start working on subtitles, chapters and I'm considering creating a trailer for this project. EDIT: Here's something fun I just found out: Gremlins' director Joe Dante watched Sam Hocevar's DVD reconstruction on YouTube last year: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_f...7610904364
Here's the trailer I made. I had a lot of fun doing it. Enjoy:

I have a 720p provisional version of it uploaded on Mega. If somebody wants to see it and give me feedback, send me a PM.

Update:
Video-wise, it's complete. Until ilovewaterslides creates the wavy transition for flashbacks, but I guess that would have to be for a later V2. Audio-wise, I'll ask Stamper to perform the syncing of the LPCM mono from the DVD-R. Subtitle-wise, I'm 3/4 in the French track for the hearing-impaired. Then I'll make the English track. I'll need an English-speaking native member to proof-read my work. Then I'll make the "information" track that indicates which films are used in each scene. Chapter-wise, I'll create them, too.
