TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if this also popped up Hulu, now with Disney owning that and Fox. Unless Hulu gets an upgrade to have 4k content on it, then I assume it would be a down-covert of the 4k remaster or the old one.

I think it's worth the wait when the 4K version appears on the Amazon, I will follow this. I am sure there will be better quality.

(2020-01-05, 01:45 PM)Bigrob Wrote: Bit of chatter over at Blu-ray.com indicating that the new 4K remaster (that was mentioned over social media last year) might be streaming on HBO. No confirmation yet though. Might just be hearsay. Did any one managed to check out the stream as mentioned above? I've not had time to go searching for it recently sadly

I checked. It appears to me to be the same remaster print that was on Cinemax.

Something odd I found. The OM with no logo is riddled with artifacts that look like small lines around objects
OM/x400 (look at the dials) It's not easy to see but once I saw it, I can't unsee it. It looks like maybe a bad IVTC was done? The version I have is 1080p, maybe there is a 1080i out there. On the opposite end the logo version, which is the same master, doesn't have those artifacts and has just a hint more resolution. Again that leads me to believe the IVTC on the no logo was iffy. So the new plan is to use the logo version and de-logo it with the no logo version. Thanks given by: Stamper

Cool, I would fancy syncing all the available DVD tracks to your project.
