The French UHD of Blade (1998) has a much higher bitrate and Dolby Vision compared to the US UHD, but there are a few cavevats (missing commentaries, French only subs). One of them is that the forced subtitles for the Vampire language speaking parts are missing, and I would like for someone to recreate those subtitles with a font that closely resembles the US UHD, either by hardcoding the subs to the video or making a PGS file, and with the commentaries synced to the French UHD, we can finally have the definitive version of Blade.
Here is a link to caps-a-holic comparing both UHDs:

I joined because I became fascinated at how people from all over are capable of restoring films to a state in which it is close to what was shown in theatres.
Sadly, I do not have as much skills nor the resources to be of much help, but I hope I can make some form of small contribution to this community.

Hello, I'm new here in this Forum. I'm an absolute fan of the 80s classics, Aliens, Predator, Robocop, Terminator, etc.
What brought me here? International exchange of opinions and knowledge. I also like editing films, using "DaVinci Resolve", "MKV Toolnix", sound editing using "Adobe Audition", "Steinberg Cubase", "DTS-HD Master Audio Suite". I'm looking forward to exchanging opinions. I speak German, English, Russian
