Wow that's alot of frames to fix, almost 1000 frames of the same damn line! Looks pretty good Evit except wen it gets to the bridge, then you see what you did while the camera pans. I'm sure your still working on fixing it though. I didn't know Shout kept a scratch line in like that, i haven't watched this BD as of yet.

Here's another update on the scene. The only part of the blu line that is still visible appears when it passes on the bridge. I'm not sure if I should go for a compromise and leave it as it is or invest in a further considerable amount of time to remove it from there too. It is kinda annoying me to leave it there but at least you don't see it against black objects and the black sky anymore.

There is a new German BD release announced, that is announced to use the Shout factory master with additional dirt removal. (I think it is mentioned in the BluRay.com forum)

If it's true and they fix everything I'm gonna cry ahah!
Somebody in that thread said that they made similar announcements for The Fog and ended up getting an old upscaled version again. I hope for everyone's sake that it's true but I don't see how any other company can use Shout Factory master, surely that belongs to them only and they wouldn't let others have it for profit.

We will see. I am curious, maybe they could not fix everything, but maybe they have some improvement to shout... or they just destroied the shout with dnring ist to Predator-Wax-Hell...

The Fog was not a Constantin Film release, as EFNY. The Fog was from Kinowelt/StudioCanal.

Update:
- German audio from Laserdisc has been synched to this project - Blu vertical line mostly removed (I've reached a decent compromise) - Working on Blu Ray menu - More blu splotches found and removed - Moiré effect still needs to be fixed Looks like I'm almost there.
