Yes, I'm interested. If T2 gets a 3D Blu-ray release and I get it, I'll definitely use your findings as a reference for regrading the 3D version to the original colors.

As expected the color "revisions" (are they?) in the upcoming restoration:

It's like Cameron goes through the movie goofs list and fixes everything he can find. The interesting part to me and I know these are just trailer pics is that they did the same thing that they did to T1 and Aliens. Well maybe to a lot lesser degree but they made the film greener. Its that green should probably be blue based off the info I have seen. A good example is the hallway fight which I have contended for a while now should be blue (the BD is neutral). That hallway in now green. I wonder if I can swap the colors in Premiere.... Additional: and just like Aliens they did a crap job on the fixes you can still see the reflection/light of the broken window on the truck even though they removed the window falling out. And they fixed Arnold but not Eddie?

Those are coming from bluray.com. so, if it's indeed that tealish, I guess I'll buy the 2015 bluray and wait for a possible 35mm scan. Even if the color hadn't changed, i still mind the "fixes". I wouldn't take any opinion on that trailer. I'll wait to see the final version of the film. That trailer, some shots look like they are not color timed correctly, and some of the touch ups look like previz state. I'm guessing they clobbed up a trailer from the early work on that one.

True but you have to admit, if you made a joke as to what you thought a Cameron T2 remaster would look like, green is it. |
