It's weird they didn't release the 3D version in open 2.0:1. That would have been awesome.

The Terminator is on Amazon prime.
It's the Blu-ray 2012 remaster, but without the green tint. Anyone wants to do a preserv, the time is right now. Thanks given by: Tylerdurden389
I only have T2 on Prime here in Italy. Who's got Terminator on Prime AND the tools to grab it for reference?
Can you post screenshots?
AKA thxita on OriginalTrilogy
I preserve movies as they first appeared in Italy.

Hi, T1 is on Prime in France, no need for Starz or anything else.
I'll try screenshots from my browser, not sure it works! Thanks given by: Evit

Thanks to an anomymous source who managed to get 3 different encodes.
One is H265, and there are two different H264 streams, one VBR and one CBR. I zoomed the H264 encodes and the H265 and it appears the H264 ones have some macroblocking that is absent of course from the H265 which is in fact as big in size as the CBR encode. The master is in 1.85:1 and Pal 25fps. It's not the exact same as the WEB-DL as this one was 1.77:1 open matte, so here we have probably a straight encode from the DCP so basically the same as the Blu-ray but without the green overcast. After further browsing between the CBRH264 and the H265, it's obvious the H265 has tons of grain that is not visible on the H264, in fact it almost has too much grain. I need to compare with the Blu-ray master, but I think the H265 might be unique in having the grain better managed, in addition to not having the green overcast. There is still teal, but for example the phone book pages inserts are yellow not green. I converted the H265 to 23.976 and will do a quick release with some of the mono soundtracks I synced already to the Blu (should be the exact same timing), if comparison with the Blu-ray shows an improvement in the grain management and more detail. Wow, sounds really positive. There's obviously been rumours about Shout or someone else releasing a version, I wonder if this is the basis for that?
