[In progress] True Lies - open matte, film regraded
Yep, actually the 35mm film scan is really blue, and NOT teal, Kynch, capito? Tongue

Forgot to mention: if I'll decide for the UHD, another benefit would be 10 bit, so it should avoid (or render less obvious) posterizations in some instances.

Hi spoRv,

I have a excellent audio track of German dubbed and it's DTS 5.1 dubbed by Scythe42 and DTS-HD MA 5.1 dubbed by Kumbbl, the remixes based on DVD audio by Kinowelt (2005).
Can I offer you for your project?

So I compared Bloodsuckerz to ABM. Bloodsuckerz is definetely the better version.

ABM has some more noise but Bloodsuckerz has done some work on the original DVHS that makes for the cleanest release so far in the scope format. The tracks are fantastic as well.

Direct copy of the D-VHS Tape (1080i proper IVTCed) - not transcoded from another release. English audio is the PCM Track vom D-VHS Tapes with some minor adjustments and cleaning because of some uncorrectable bit errors on the source tape which is typical for old D-VHS Tapes, both in Dolby Stereo Digital as well as Dolby (same options as with playback with a D-VHS player) - both variants lossless encoded as DTS-HD MA in case someone wants to do a remix or more work, plus the DTS Track that was also present on the tape as well. Basically everthing that was on the D-Theater tape to begin with. Laserdisc Audio was not included in that release but should be the same PCM track anyway.

Beside that some light color correction and some other stuff to the liking of the person who requested it (see NFO), without going too far away from the theatrical release at least color wise. White Blow out is present on the 35mm prints (Cameron's DP wanted that comic book look) already, same goes for some ghosting in high motion action scenes, which are result of early digital image stabilization. Without OCN not really correctable as this is on the releases prints as well.

Nothing magically about it. It is what it is, some work on the D-Theater tape as people can't play these anymore, without going crazy. If something looks really crappy on the tape it still will in the Bloodsuckerz Release. Shit In -> Shit Out.

The Spanish Bootleg is a (subpar) re-encode of the Bloodsuckerz release to comply with BD specs plus the stuff that was on the Kinowelt DVD... Don't buy!
