Return of the Living Dead (1985) Shout Factory BD with edited credits
I still want to retouch it a bit and try get the color a bit closer, not that anyone will ever notice but, you know... details! More results later, for now I want to go back to manually stabilize it frame by frame, you know me. Shouldn't take too long though

I preserve movies as they first appeared in Italy.

@Evit. I'm unsure of the software you are using, but if Im doing something similar I would use the 'Change to color' plug in in Adobe After Effects.
It has a color picker option to match to anything.

Id give more detailed instruction, but I'm away from my edit bay Smile

I work in the Adobe environment too, I'll look into it.

Play around with the brightness also when you have matched the colors using the plugin.
You should get a pretty good result Smile
There both in the color correction section in effects I think.

I agree with Doombot and Beber… just barely brighter and a tad more "orangeish". Haha

Damn close though.

Haven't tested the color match yet because I had to go out but this was my last attempt today

Lower the green channel slightly and I think you have a near perfect match.

The difference could be only spotted by video maniacs like us, though... Happy

Looks great! Only reason we noticed at all before was because we're aware of the issue.

Can you confirm that this was shown in theaters and wasn't a home video add-on? Also, anyone has this on HD?
Ok, I found the R rating outro in HD. It's on Child's Play 2 on BD. There are more BDs with it on them but that was the 1st one I found.
