I believe with all the HD sources we have now, using the official BD I just got as the main source... we can have a damn fine project here.
PS: I just sent a PM to TM2YC over at fanedit. Hopefully that gets this even more in the right direction.

i'm sure TM2YC is already aware of that bluray, it's been around since last year, I got it last October just after it was released, like I said earlier, surprised anyone into The Warriors big time is not aware of it. Zoidberg's preservation stands up very well to it, the compression on the bluray is not the best anyway, shame Koch didn't handle it.

Yes he is aware of the blu-ray but he hasn't gotten a chance to view it yet. Maybe some of it could be used to improve his fan edit and make a version 3 or something like that.

There are numerous sources available and of which I have the following: AMZN HD, personal Sky Movies HD Cap, Teamblu (Netflix source used and not one of their better preservations, full of artefacts and funky grain), Zoidberg's excellent Film4HD Mpeg2/Netflix hybrid, iTunes (very poor compression) and 84 bluray.
Haven't got around to watching TM2YC preservation so can't comment on that.

It would be nice to get a preservation made from all the HD sources and finally not need any DVD footage if that is possible. Might not be with the bad cropping on many of the sources.

I'm not planning to revisit this one anytime soon but if I had the Amazon WEB-DL at the time I would have most likely used that for the missing frames and the spotlights shot.
Has anyone been able to confirm whether the 2.0 DTS-HD on the blu is mono or a stereo fold-down yet?

Is the spotlight scene definitely blown out on the German bluray, haven't watched it in a while and at the minute don't have it to hand. If no one chimes in will check later.
Edit: Just checked the Sky version and that looks like the Teamblu screenshots in Zoidberg's thread so obviously not blown out.

crampedmisfit1990 was nice enough to clue me into the German disc. I can easily swap that one (spotlight) scene are there any other scenes that are problematic?
