PDB, which sources are you going to use for this, I assume the Amzn for the blown insert. Just did a quick splice with Videredo and it works perfectly for that bit but would be nice to have a correctly color-timed version. Let me know if the S*y source is needed.

Thanks and not sure yet, as to what sources I'm using X5. I was suppose to get the Germany BD yesterday but just got it. So I have a lot of comparisons still to do. From memory I have: Zoid's project Team Blu Amazon I dumped all my other copies, including my HDTV recordings. I also need to dig out my DVD. Thanks given by: crampedmisfit1990

I have the full TeamBlu copy and the original Paramount TC DVD. I paid way too much for a new copy when I found out the BD was the abomination version too late.

Not 100% sure but the German bluray looks a little smooth compared to zoid's which could mean dnr may have been used as zoid didn't mention adding any sort of grain filter to his Film4 source. Look forward to your observations.

The only shot I regrained was the upscaled spotlight shot from the DVD. Film4 do have a habit of putting out completely unfiltered HD masters although occasionally the bitrate can let them down. I think the 'busyness' of MPEG2 compression helps to keep the grain looking somewhat natural-looking. I do remember the old Netflix cap was almost completely smooth, they may have re-encoded it since then I haven't checked.

What version should I go for as this is my first time watching the warriors and I want the perfect first time..... Should i use the HD restoration, GERMAN BD or Zoidberg's one?
