I just have the UK VHS with the different songs. Might play that when I find on what hard drive it is on.

I think though that everything hints to the stereo mix on the TC being just the original mono stems without any folddown.

On another note, I checked again the lights blown shot, and this is corrected on the AU disc, the shot now look like the old DVD, and I assume the Amazon rip which also has the mono mix.

Does anyone have the Prime E-AC3 mono to share? I'd like to compare to the DVD mono.

Prime Video 2.0 track is not in mono.

Yes I just realise, it's the same stereo version as the DE and AU discs.

Well the DVD mono has been on my custom HDTV project since forever so it isn't a new unknown quantity

I think it was your project that I have, was it from the Film Four Broadcast, if so, I still think overall that has maybe the best picture quality in regards to grain etc (outside of the netflix inserts for frame losses at commercial breaks).

EDIT: I played the 2.0 folded down and it sounds exactly like the mono mix, in fact it's clearer than the stereo. I think the stereo is just the M&E stereo stems mixed in with the dialogue track, without any other doctoring.

EDIT 2: I remuxed the AU TC into mkv and can't see any cross on the bottom right at 0:41:49.

EDIT 3:The lights shot is not blown out. It is like the left version on the Movie Censorship page!

Stamper, any chance you compared the compression on AU TC vs De TC, if its the same or better might grab it and re-do my own custom with tv deleted scenes added back in (using a mixture of the first coney island deleted scene from warriors website and rest from tranzor TNT source , very poor picture quality but best there is).

Yes, but I need then to rip my German disc before A/B the masters on the computer or media player.
I sampled thanks to fellow forumer the US VHS mono, and it looks to me that we might be better off just with the AU disc stereo played folded into mono.
I also will sample the alternate soundtrack version from the Pal VHS this week-end. I think it might be good to finally have this alternate synced to an HD version.

Bloody hell, I can't find the UK VHS anywhere. I was certain I had a rip on a hard drive, but no dice. Anyone remember if it was posted on any tracker?

Had a look around the trackers I know but unfortunately came up empty.
