I do have the HDDVD already. I need to see if the True or the Plus are as useful as the DTS MA from the BD. I did include the DVD's DD 2.0 in PCM form because the dynamics on it sounded a bit different.

Do you happened to know the bitrate on the Amazon Web-DL? I assume it is the same master as the AP version X5 talked about, just framed for 16:9.

Based on the comparisons:
The AP BD has a lot more digital noise overlayed, as it sure doesn't look like real grain and there's no more actual detail on the picture. Also there are some very thin pillar boxes on the sides.

The original US BD and the HD-DVD are very similar with the former having a very slight edge. The HD-DVD frame is a little bit off center on the vertical axis.

Based on these image comparisons, I guess the original BD is the best source for the project.

I guess I should also ask is there anything audio-wise I should add that people have?

I have the original (4:3) LD's PCM. If someone has the Signature LD, I can add it but not sure if it will differ.

Since PDB offered to use it, I think this project really deserves the audio of the Signature LD, which I believe, should be the best source for original audio.

There's a Factory Sealed set at LDDB.com and if a US based member of the forum here is able and willing to rip bit perfectly, I would gift you this LD set.
