Unfortunately, I think he may have bailed. I corresponded with him earlier this year over PM, and he said that he had been busy but was getting ready to work on it. However, that's the last I heard from him. I have tried messaging him multiple times with no response. His profile shows that he was active this month. Hopefully, I am wrong though. I would love to see this scan.

@camskittles18 actually I've been in contact with freedomland. Work is just progressing slow but it's still going and he'll release an encode when ready. There was trouble with the print because the fade was bad and there was flicker.

Hey there, don't worry about the scan. It is in wip, I was having troubles though if it was feasible to drag this project to the finish-line. I stand behind my word, though I need to lower my own high expectation I had in the first place. Everyone is able to get to me if someone has not the patience anymore and wants to opt out. This is not really the title of putting it in Resolve or premiere and find one good grading and it is done. Sadly, it is quite the contrary, the film has degraded in various directions and is different from reel to reel and also in the reel itself, which makes it even harder. As I dont want to output an unfinished grading, I took my time. Nevertheless, beyond that I contributed my best in this forum as much as I could logistically and behind the scenes as much I was able recently.
I am still convinced of what one can pull out of this release, believe me, but it takes time to find the right grading for it is varying in different parts.
@The Aluminum Falcon
can you recommend me an upload site for a short-preview?

@freedomland appreciate you taking the time! I normally use WeTransfer but people also use MEGA or a Resilio Sync share.
