I have it on good authority that the original cut of Superman 2 is streaming on Apple TV and Vudu. The pre bluray master without the revisionist colour timing and blown out whites. Is anyone in a position to capture this version. The last time it was available was a HDTV rip that's been missing online for about a decade.

Superman 3 is also the old master, wires in view and all. Would love to preserve these versions.

Are they on Amzn as well as they will be less compressed. To get the higher bit rate 10mbps streaming version (not the usual highly compressed 5mbps that these drm ripping tools use) on iTunes you will need to have the correct m3u8 playlist and L1 CDM or know someone that does.

I also have resources for that (m3u8 playlist)... just need him to confirm who has what version of SupermanII he needs

So these are quasi-HD or HD broadcast versions of the DVD masters of II and III? That would be cool since my DVDs were killed by Warner DVD rot.

If you have L1 cdm, I would be careful with iTunes, they are quick at killing them, but I'm sure you know that. Does the iTunes version have 10mbps or is it max 6/7 like some of them are.
