Has anybody watched the new Arnold docu-series on Netflix? They show footage from T1, T2 and True Lies in episode 2. Curious about the sources for each. T2 definitely isn't footage taken from the most recent 2017 transfer.

I haven't done much with this project because the "always coming soon" release of Abyss and True Lies seemed to be heating up over the last few months. Well looks like that is finally happening with Aliens in 4K. From B&D in the shoutbox:

Has there been a recent remaster of Abyss on streaming? I thought most preservations are based on old masters, so this could look different? Likely inline with how TL looks.

Yep there has been a theatrical cut shown on us cable for a few years now. It can be found as a Web-DL in various spots on the internet.
Regardless of the colors (which may be partially accurate) it is a good looking remaster with nice grain. |
