As everyone knows, this classic got an excellent remaster last year with heavily upgraded PQ. However, the new DTS-HD audio seems a bit off balance, with the voice overs too loud in the mix (to my ears anyway).
I'm in the process of testing the Dolby Digital mix from the old blu-ray to see how much of a difference there is but would be interested to know if anyone has the PCM Stereo mix from the Laserdisc that they could share as another alternative? This review of the old HD-DVD suggests it's better that the Dolby Digital:

Not sure if everyone is aware of the Kickstarter going on for the Ghostbusters documentary "Cleanin' Up the Town"
Currently has about 8 days left to run, and is about £16K short of their goal. By the looks of it, most of the footage is 'there' and they are looking to fund 'the polish' for want of a better term on the project.
There is also a second documentary about Ghostbusters fans which is also about 50% funded with 12 days left to run:
Just wanted to give everyone the heads up - I often only stumble upon these things too late to contribute and figure they make great bonus discs to preservations etc.

Hi Guys
As some of you may know I am able to do Seamless branching projects for the community.
There are some things I will need from those who wish these to be authored into a Bluray disc
1: You will need to provide all the files in a Blu-ray recognized standard/format separated demuxed and ready for me to put together.
2: You will need to provide me with the exact order you wish your files to be arranged in
3: A download link to grab the files and do the work
4: Will you require a basic menu if so please specify that you do and I can do one for you please bear in mind it will be basic unless you also provide a menu video with audio or a background image.
I hope that is a starter for 10 as I'm more than willing to do what I can but just need those who would like me to try to do some work their end and I'll hopefully do the rest.
Please PM me those who desire help
