Hi Everybody,

I could use some help, I'm trying to collect the highest quality versions of each Highlander film.

Does anybody have access to a digital(ized) copy of the Highlander 2: The Quickening (US Theatrical Cut) which is reportedly on Amazon Prime UK in HD quality? The runtime is only 89 minutes, and yes, this is the most infamous version of the movie which was edited by the bonding company.

If so, please let me know. I'm planning a fan edit for this Highlander entry in particular.

Sadly the Version is not in prime included, so I cannot even watch it on amazon. (and then, of course not even capture it.)


Also a bit sad, that the German Highlander 2 Stream only has german audio, and not english audio, as it seems to be close to the european theatrical version, with the "fairy tale" ending.

It's still available to buy/rent though isn't it?

Yeah, but you need an UK invoice address for buying digital content.

It should be possible to access Amazon Prime UK and it's content using a VPN, shouldn't it?

The issue is, that prime included content is watchabple via VPN, but Highlander 2 is not included in prime, so it has to be purchased digitally. This does not even need VPN, but, if not using gift cards, a credit card from a bank in the country you want to purchase the Digital content from, AND an invoice adress in that specific country.

So, to buy or rent a digital content on amazon (UK) an address in the UK is needed. So even if I can watch prime included content with my german prime membership on amazon (UK), the movie Highlander 2 is not prime included content.

It would be great to somehow preserve this. You never know what Amazon will do down the line. Either remove it or switch it out with another cut/transfer.

I believe HippieDalek mentioned it has PAL speed up. So that needs correcting too.

I checked it and it's not HD, just upscaled from DVD of Concorde. I have a DVD.

The original poster would love to get the amazon UK Version, as it is the US theatrical Cut. So it cannot taken from the concorde DVD, because that is based of the european theatricla cut, but censored in violence for Germany. 
The amazon UK Version might also be an upscale, but, as it is NOT prime included I cannot check it, because I cannot buy it.

Ah, it's amazon UK Version. OK. But you can buy a amazon gift to redeem the voucher.
