No problems... three captures, and then finally one video file with the option to choose one of those three audio tracks!
Looking for the "right" Terminator 2 color grading...

Isn't that mono file just one of the surrounds? Just asking.

If I play the left Mono Track it seems to be a complete valid mono, and not just a part of the surround.

Interesting! The "lost" mono mix LOL that would make the film on par with the original T1!

The mono track present in an AC3 laserdisc is NEVER only a surround channel; in the worst case, it was a mere mix of L/R stereo channel, but sometimes was a totally different mix, specifically developed just for mono-capable theaters - this happened for older movies AFAIK, dunno for the newer releases...

I am loading up a sample of the LD with the mono track as flac encoded. So, some of you may check it...

Awesome. That would be one crazy find.

Was this squeeze laserdisc the first to include an ac3 track? I wonder if the disc wasn't Lightstorm approved, I know Cameron kicked off about the video, perhaps the audio was a true theatrical mix ie far field mix. Just speculatin'

Someone on ebay.co.uk has a ton of film cells, various T1 and T2 ones pop up often. These are the oldest completed listings still in retention: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R...=100&rt=nc Go to pages 1 and 2 to see more, and turn off "Completed listings" to see the live ones.

Awesome, now you can calculate how much is missing from any transfer from those!
