I didn't check the soundmix yet, it sounds very low to me. I will try to see in those instances you mentioned if it is the old mix or the redo.
Funnily the bass that was missing in the DCPs is back. I think StudioCanal messed the DCPs version.

The DCP definitely had bass, just not earth shattering levels. But my word it was LOUD

What thel hell?! They did not even bother remastering the extended scenes! They still look like the old master with lack of definition and old color timing! They surely can't go unnoticed! Only the theatrical cut is fully remastered. On top of that, when watching the 2D version, the intro still states "3D". A job so poorly made.

It is a shambles for sure. If it wasn't for the 3D I doubt I would get it. For a while I thought it might be a Jurassic Park situation where the 2D was the old disc, Top Gun 3D didn't even include the 2D in the UK.
