"Alien" has the very old one, same as "Star Wars". It's not 90's. That's even where Harmy took it for his Despecialized.

Cool. Now I can't wait to rewatch "Die Hard 2" color corrected. Before reading this thread, I had never even noticed how different the Blu-ray looked, granted it's not the "Die Hard" movie I rewatch the most and thus know the best.

Yeah Beber is right. The Alien logo is the old "hair" one that was used for years. (It's got a piece of hair in the spotlight)
The 90s one is the same but cleaner. Glad Speed works. Can't wait to try it. Hopefully this makes the weakest Die Hard movie that much better (there is no 4 and 5 lol). Zoidberg' LD cap is very interesting. Actually made me go back to my original 35mm timing on a shot that I used the CE DVD colors on.

I actually rate DH4. Sure it's one step away from a reboot, and once the jet makes it's appearance it completely loses it! But at least they didn't do a remake! Or make a DH5.

I have got to say that really is a massive improvement. I can't recall it looking like that but it looks so good and it's like buried treasure.
Not as good as the first one but I think what you have done will make it a much more enjoyable experience.

Speed's BD has the logo but the DVD had a CG replacement. The off-center Fox logo is also on the original DH releases.
Really excited for this. It seems to have a different look to it across the years much like Last Boy Scout (in many ways the real DH3) did when going from SD to HD. DH2 is my favorite of the sequels. Hands down. It is the only one with the same tone and world as the first. I enjoy 3 for what it is, and like parts of 4. 5 never happened.
