LDDB says it came out in 1982. No CX encoding, either. Not sure any PAL titles ever had CX though.

That's a good question. To be honest until that new release got announced I didn't realise there was a different version in the UK. I don't know if that was just a difference theatrically or if all home video versions had the soundtrack difference as well.

I think this only happened on home-video. I remember I bought the VHS in 1988 and to my surprise found out the songs weren't the same.
There is a rip I think on the geddon track.

Anyone have a decent copy of either the UK 1997 BBC 2 Moviedrome showing which had the beginning Coney daylight deleted scene or 1999 repeat and the full quality deleted scenes (without the poor compression and description overlay) from the US TV version that are on the Warriors website and Youtube. Can't seem to find my old VHS recording of Moviedrome version. I don't need the US TV versions from TNT, which were used for Tranzor TV composite or original ABC available at the organ. Recreating my own HD tv composite.

I wonder if anyone has checked out that Australian release? Is it the same video that was used on the German disc? I've heard the 2.0 is stereo as opposed to mono.

Will do tonight. I have the German disc somewhere I didn't realise the audio was mono!
