I've got the DVD too, (R1 original disc) will check out the differences, maybe it's time for a resync!

I assumed the German has Dual Mono and was pretty sure it's the original mono, am I wrong.
Only checked the deleted scenes of Aus one (which are ruined by fading in/out at the beginning/end and from the looks of it are upscaled from transzor's TNT source). Didn't bother to check film as Imprint's encoding is usually pretty bad (even with higher bitrate) and just assumed German would be better. Maybe someone can chime in to confirm either way. Unfortunately, German one still has the blown out cop flood lights but I replaced that shot using smart render with AMZN WEB-DL, not sure if that's fixed on Aus version. It follows the color-timing of Dir Cut but I'm fine with that. It also has the 5.1 and 2.0 mixed up on the blu-ray menu from what I remember and a small authoring glitch at 0:41:49 where a small cross appears at the bottom right of the screen (thanks to a poster spotting on blu site) which I've just read and again have to replace with AMZN WEB-DL. I also have another custom one which uses Film Four broadcast as source and Netflix (which was used for TeamHD release) for missing frames during commercial breaks.

Unfortunately the German is indeed stereo and not dual mono.

Well that's a bummer then. Hopefully like Stamper said above, he can check and confirm if the original dvd r1 is mono and get it synced.
Just read a comment over on the Organ that AMZN second track is the mono as well:
"interestingly the Prime version has the original mono track" Track 2: English | E-AC-3 | 2.0ch | 224kb/s | Unknown Anyone confirm? Thanks given by: Stamper

So isn't the track off the R1 DVD the original mono?
Yes, I just checked THE DVD, the specs are English Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono + French Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono.
Though I'm not sure about the 2.0 being a downmix, when I downmix the 5.1 it sounds with very different levels than the 2.0. It seems to me the AU 2.0 stereo is the same track as the DE 2.0 stereo. The film doesn't have any mention of the mix in the end credits. What I think is the 2.0 Dolby Surround track on the DC is a down mix, it has to be. But the 2.0 found on the German and AU TC releases might be a stereo mix? Maybe just the stems mixed into stereo instead of folded down? This happened before. EDIT: I played the 2.0 folded down and it sounds exactly like the mono mix, in fact it's clearer than the stereo. I think the stereo is just the M&E stereo stems mixed in with the dialogue track, without any other doctoring. EDIT 2: I remuxed the AU TC into mkv and can't see any cross on the bottom right at 0:41:49. EDIT 3:The lights shot is not blown out. It is like the left version on the Movie Censorship page!

Well the DVD mono has been on my custom HDTV project since forever so it isn't a new unknown quantity
