I'm working on a Deja Vu open matte using 2 sources (WEB-DL and HDTV) but need help removing the HDTV logo from the opening sequence to replace the foreign language one on the WEB-DL.

The HDTV clip has been de-interlaced and converted to 24fps to match the WEB-DL clip. I also have an all black screenshot with the logo and I've made a mask that should work. Just need a guru to work their magic on them please.

Well... didn't expect a Pacific Rim universe merged with the MonsterVerse, but it happened in this flick.

Expectations were high, and weren't fullfilled completely, so: "not that bad"? "nice"? "meh"?

Don't you see it with a horrible blue tint?

I've seen this on many, many Twilight Time releases. Anyone know why? I'm wondering what the correct look is, I imagine the DVD.

My nickname is Askel, I'm crazy about (all kind of) movies since I was a kid and I did myself a few repacks for my own and friends (especially poliziotteschi, italian crime movies), and french translations.

I knew Fanres for a few years now, and I'm glad to be a new member, thank you for your projects and your enthousiasm!

Since the Blu-Ray releases of the films have only ever included the Unrated cut of the film, did the Theatrical Cut ever get put out in HD anywhere either in the form of a HDTV cap or anything similar? I've only ever seen it on DVD and nowhere else. 

Also, I managed to find the uncommon Australian 2000 "Dumb and Dumber" DVD on the side of the road that contains the deleted "little old lady" scene that is unique to this release for some reason. I managed to rip the open matte disc and upscaled it to HD and cropped it to 16:9 without much hassle. 






I'd be happy to upload the entire film untouched from the DVD if anyone would want it.

There's too many answers on Google from using FFmpeg to HandBrake so I thought I'd be better off asking here instead.

Ok, so there's another ZSJL project, I am workin' on it for a few days.



As a widescreen lover I wasn't initally all that happy with Snyder's vision in which the movie was presented in 4:3. After two viewings I can say it's not that bad and surely more interesting than standard 1.78:1 presentation of theatrical cut. But that doesn't change the fact I'd like to be able watch that movie in AR matching previous films (just as was the case with first Avengers). So I started working on reframing whole thing to theatrical 2.35:1 (or something close to it) aspect ratio which of course means we see about a half of the picture. But, that is the important part of the picture and after watching some scenes in that form I'm quite certain I will watch that more often than Snyder's preferred 1.33:1 version.



As the addition, I've tweaked colors a little bit (a little less green, a little more red) and if the 5.1 audio tracks allow it, I'm thinking about a little bit of re-scoring as I didnt really like Junkie XL' music. But even if I'll do that, it would be only an optional bonus track.  Also, there will be some cuts to few pointless scenes -  everything after shirt rip scene, and "certain Martha scene", as I think those do not really belong in that movie.
