So I downscaled it to 1080p. Then trimmed it a bit, 20 pixels on the 4 sides. Sometimes the reels have suffered a lot but most of the time it's ok. Compared to the the one I got from a satellite transmission. It's way more precise. The image is sharp. Really a great job.
I do have a problem with the audio. Listening to it in stereo with headphones, the left side is to high. Even when I change my balance, about 50% on the left, all the voices seems to still come mostly from the left. Anyone else experienced the same thing ? Xavier

Was unsure if that is how it is supposed to be, so I made two versions of the decode, one with it "fixed" (to my ears) and one like it was. I believe both those decoded tracks are included, so you could listen to the one with the fix. Thanks given by: xavierbzh

When I watched a bit last night, there was only 1 audio track. I just checked the 35mm grindhouse mkv, and there are 3 tracks.
One 2 channels and two 4 channels. My encoder just kept 1 track, I just noticed how to keep the correct track. I'll retry later on. Thanx for the info, Xavier
