The canal chase explosion 'fix' is fairly subtle, with Arnold's face superimposed. The truck crashing down just looks strange. It almost looks like the truck 'holds' the windscreen in place as the whole thing lurches forward after impacting the ground. Admittedly it's a pretty big continuity gaffe as the windscreen gets destroyed in the crash but then gets knocked out again by the T-1000, but I must have seen this film more than any other in my life and it doesn't bother me one bit. Still, when Cameron gets a bee in his bonnet... Any guesses what other fixes Cameron's got in store? I'm sure he'll fix the giant head Arnold stunt mask during the liquid nitrogen truck chase (the window was pretty heavily darkened in the recent master). Probably the cocked/uncocked pistol too when John makes the Terminator swear not to kill. It would be nice to go see a newly restored older film and not have to worry about teh fixes.

Yeah the color timing on that is closer to the current BD but I wonder what the new BD will look like.
There are a lot of errors to fix apparently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AP2rXOg47bU http://www.moviemistakes.com/film1268/pageall

It certainly will be interesting to find out, here in the UK the Blu will be a StudioCanal release, I'm not sure about the US, Lionsgate probably? In any case not released by Fox. So if the new T2 blus have a green tint then we can probably assume it's Cameron's doing.

There is one major gaffe in the canal chase ending, when the T-1000 hit the brakes, suddenly John and T are gone from his point of view. The trucks screeches into an empty canal, and then in the reverse shot, they are back in slow mo.

Cameron has final sign offs on all of his master's I just wish he still used laser Pacific

Seems LaserPacific had the better grading screen(s), if Cameron's director-approved transfers look excessively green.

Tell me, is there a DVD apart from Cameron's stuff printed at LaserPacific of a film that would later be restored by Lowry Digital?
