Where is it?! I've been looking for The Warriors with French titles for a long time now!
Just checked and it's going to be aired on OCS Choc. One of the channels I don't have of course

It's on replay on sfr box, so I assume it airs from time to time. Also it's the original cut, and it's uncut (remember, there was the censored cut version that was on TV in the 80's). Alas I can't record it, it's a stream, check out your replay vod in your box it's probably there.

I didn't know that they used the censored version on TV in the '80s. Thanks for the info! I'm gonna take a look at my box then will let you know.
Two films at last that were censored in France on initial releases, and later aired on TV in censored form, are The Warriors and Mad Max.

Definitely not available on my VOD service anyways. They sometimes air The Warriors on the Paramount Channel, I'll try to record it one day.

I don't think Paramount channel would show anything but US masters. If the French localized version is available on VOD someone MUST record it before they replace it with a US master, which is what eventually happens with these services.

Well most of the movies they broadcast here have their original localized titles. Usually scanned from theatrical prints then it goes back to the US master for the rest of the movie.

Some channels do that here sometimes but not Paramount Channel. I thought it might have been a common behavior in all the countries where this channel is broadcasted
