[proposal] Robocop - Theatrical Cut
#31
I don't have my MGM or Criterion DVDs on hand to compare (unfortunately I don't have this movie on BD) but after doing a quick comparison to my VHS capture I happened to notice that the Image Entertainment release is missing the last two frames from the shot of Bob Mortons house exploding. There may be more missing or present throughout the film but this is all I've stumbled on so far.

I got the chance to snag it too. I really love it as is but maybe a little touch up would make it even finer.

Is the unreleased Sony still floating around out in the ether? I can only find re-compressed files.

The version on the 'organ is a full uncompressed BDMV structure.

cris, it's not a direct link, so this is allowed, but I provided to edit the "suggestion" to be less obvious anyway... Wink

Sorry, thought I was being suitably vague. But yes, 'that site'.

I was the one that removed the linkWink

It WAS a "direct link" (well, semi-direct - LOL) to a site that openly shares pirated material, hence the reason I removed it. Better for us to stay on the safe side of things, since that has been our stance on the topic since the beginning. I believe this should be strictly enforced or am I missing something?

The Sony Blu-ray with some reduction in sharpening and a dre colour match would work
