Hmm, could be good to use this to see if the Blu-ray is cropped on the edges or not.
Any news on this project? Can't wait!

Interesting, looks like the Stan Winston animatronic shots were open-matte, just like in the first Terminator.
To explain, I've seen 35mm frames/strips of T1 on eBay, including strips containing the cut from a regular live-action shot to an animatronic shot where it goes from hard-matted to open-matte (or where it goes from animatronic to a regular live shot, and it goes from open-matte to hard-matted).

Some more pics from the Derann 8mm on ebay:

Impossible, that print must be struck from the recent Blu-ray.
LOL

It does look a lot like the BD but without the added green. This at least has something approaching human skin tones.
If it is the Derann like Ebay say it would of been struck long before the BD. But there could always be bait and switch.

Looks like it's made from the Blu-ray to me. There's a yellow shift hence why the green is lighter.

Or maybe the bluray release represents faithfully the original 35mm! ?
AKA thxita on OriginalTrilogy
I preserve movies as they first appeared in Italy.

But everybody says it doesn't so it must be true.
Any new on this release? Any 1.0 version possibility while awaiting? |
