Anyone check out the UHD Ultimate Edition from VVE/Madman? I wonder if that's what Arrow will be releasing.

I guess I'm confused. Is Arrow a U.S. release and 4k? I don't see it on Amazon.

Both cuts and original 2.0 audio

I just watched the arrow UHD. Absolutely gorgeous and mind blowing to see this film at that level of quality. I looked at the LD and the old Warner bd first…this is like seeing a brand new print in your house there is no comparison. The brightness on the transfer is gone, So is the slight haziness and the old reddish ntsc tint, the frame wobble is gone and you feel as if you’ve gone back to 1991 and seen a master element freshly produced.

The extended cut scenes are perfectly integrated with no quality loss. The 2.0 surround is included for both cuts which is a first. I don’t know if they had the extra scenes mixed originally or if they had to use the 5.1 remix elements and reconfigure them.

All the WB extras are ported. The music video is still LD exclusive. All I have to do now is check the LD 2.0 vs UHD 2.0 again. I was doing a basic A/B comparison switching in my receiver which left me unsure which might be better. As always I kinda lean toward the LD track but I need to do more comparing.
