Hello everyone,

I'm just a regular guy from Indonesia who loves to watch movies every now and then.
Currently, I'm hoping to find the Thai version of Ong Bak (the one with original Thai music), but may be interested in other movies.

Best of everything to everyone! Cheers!

Deep Blue Sea (1999) Open Matte/P&S
Posted by: madmax87 - 2026-04-07, 08:50 PM - Forum: Movies, TV shows and other - Replies (4)

I wonder is there an undamaged WEB-DL or HDTV of the Open Matte/P&S version of "Deep Blue See" to find anywhere?
The one with the WEB-DL tag I got several copies from different shares unfortunately is full of damaged black/green frames, unwachable. I'd guess it's a screencaptured WEBRip, but not a real WEB-DL. Too bad because I like the grading and framing of that outdated transfer, would be worth a high quality preservation in my opinion. Also found a HDTVRip on a Russian tracker that doesn't have damaged frames but missing part of a scene and it also is a small SD reencode. Maybe someone has a clue where to find a good 1080p copy of that 16:9 full frame version? Thank you!

Arrow films Original lossless DTS-HD MA 5.1

Hi
Might be a stupid question but I'll ask it anyways Smile
Original lossless DTS-HD MA 5.1 - what does it actually mean. Same as Cinema DTS?
For example The Mask has this but the original mix sounds a bit muddy to my ears -> not the case with my other Cinema DTS movies.

A Charlie Brown Christmas: The 1965 Recreation
Posted by: orion6464 - 2026-04-07, 06:39 AM - Forum: Released - No Replies

On December 9, 1965, A Charlie Brown Christmas debuted on CBS, quickly becoming a beloved holiday tradition for millions.

However, during its creation, the production faced a tight deadline and skepticism from network executives, forcing the team to rush the special to completion.

A year later, the creators revisited the project to fine-tune details they felt could be improved, and that updated version went on to air/be released as the final, definitive version of the special.

Quoted from the book A Charlie Brown Christmas: The Making of a Tradition:

"When we saw the finished show, we thought we had killed it. It had so many warts and bumps and lumps and things. A year later we fixed up a few things, but we never completely recreated the show. The inconsistencies and little problems seem to make it even more endearing to a lot of people, and Sparky never wanted to change it."

Due to this, there has never been a proper restoration of this 1965 version of the special, which includes things such as:

- The Coca-Cola sponsorships.
- Non-revised scenes.
- Animation errors.

I have taken upon the opportunity to restore this version of the special using multiple sources, along with adding additional content to the special, such as:

- Special features (Includes A Christmas Miracle: The Making of A Charlie Brown Christmas, the original promotional ad restored by Cole Walker, the 1991 Shell promo, animation cels, the Christmas Tales ABC promo screener tape, and the Analogue Productions UHQR vinyl, which is the highest quality source of the soundtrack, as it's derived from the master tapes.)
- A brand new color correction to the 4K Blu Ray's, using publicly released animation cels as color reference, and color corrections and restorations of the 16mm film scan for removed scenes.
- Brand new custom subtitles using the Peanuts font and typography, cross referenced by Schultz's comics to better reflect character personality and delivery.

The video sources include:
- 2 separate 4K Blu-Ray uploads.
- 16mm scan by Thunderbean (for all other removed scenes)
- Garrett Gilchrist's restoration's of the removed Coca-Cola opening and credits (provided on his Patreon)

For audio, the only track that will be provided with this release is the 16mm optical audio (from Thunderbean's release.)

PM me for a copy.
