That's weird, I always assumed the marks were done when Bishop preps the knife.

I've been syncing the SE LD soundtrack to my project and heard a slight oddity between the cuts that I've never noticed before.
When Burke and Gorman are trying to convince Ripley to go back to LV-426, she says in the BD TC, DVD TC, HDTV TC and TV recording:
[Coffee cup being put down sound] "Look, I don't have the time for this. I got to get going. Got to go to work"
but in the LD SE and BD SE she says:
"Look, I don't have the time for this." [Coffee cup being put down sound] "I've got to get to work"
It's right after Burke's SE dialogue about building better world from the SE dialogue so I'm sure it stems from that but it's odd that it's less dialogue and a different shot cut. Never noticed that.

There is a TV Cut of Aliens? Speaks, it contains more or alternate scenes than BD?
I had to watch the TV Cut of both Alien (1979 and 1986).

Yes you can recompile it from the files on the Blu-ray, someone posted a list at OT. However do not use the 4.0 mix as it is TC only, you have to use the other 5.1 audio.
