Hi guys!
Total newbie here with 0 experience with fanedits.
I watched the new "Royal Ocean Film Society" video about fanedits on Youtube and got intrigued.
Then I wondered whether there are any Sam Peckinpah fanedits. He is one of my favorite directors and most of his films have been released in a version that he disapproved of, so I got really curious about Peckinpah cuts. Turns out there is a fanedit of Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid by LeoneNut, which sounds perfect because it's one of my favorite movies. So, I found this place because now I'm obsessed with with the idea of the Preview version and the 2005 one having been fused, since they both have advantages over the other.
Ngl, when I saw some people on this forum fairly recently post about the LeoneNut cut, I got really enthusiastic and signed up just to ask where I can find it (I have no idea what the "organ tracker" refers to). But having read the rules and some posts on here, I saw that doesn't seem to be well appreciated newbie behavior, but it's how I ended up here. So that's why I'm introducing myself and trying to figure out how somebody completely new to this can get involved.
Are there any recommended threads for total newcomers? Because now I'm wondering whether "The Killer Elite" could be saved by taking some of the goofiness out, but I'm getting way ahead of myself.

This is a hybrid of the Theatrical Open Matte Web-DL and the Unrated BluRay.
List of changes from www.movie-censorship.com
- Unrated: 0:05:23: While the theatrical cut moves on to the next scene with the view of Doug and half-naked Alan, the unrated version takes it even further. Doug's future father-in-law, Sid, as well as his wife-to-be Tracy enter the room. Then, there is a new scene ongoing. Doug leaves the house with his bag and meets Sid who has been waiting outside. Then, Sid opens his garage and the theatrical version continues.
- Unrated: 0:08:43: Both versions feature different footage. While Phil thanks several paying pupils in the theatrical cut, the unrated version has a new scene. First, Phil talks to a pupil, that he really did manage to pass ("Hey, you really came through, thank you."), then he stops another pupil.
- Unrated: 0:10:42: Two different takes in both versions. The scene offers an extension in the middle in the unrated version, making Stu's girlfriend Melissa all the more sympathetic.
- Unrated: 0:19:19: Once more, the unrated scene is longer. In the theatrical cut, you can only see Alan holding a glass of almonds in his hand and Phil standing in front of the window, telling the guys they should get ready. In the unrated version, though, Stu wants Alan to put back the glass of almonds on the plate, because a counter was implemented in it, making the goods be scored if the glass would not be put back within thirty seconds (mind you with the same weight!) into the retainer. But Phil has got a clever solution.
- Unrated: 0:26:00: Phil is allowed to hold his speech in the unrated version. But he only swears the guys that absolutely nothing about this evening will ever be revealed. Over the course of Phil's speech, a line was removed from the theatrical version, which wouldn't have made much sense without it.
- Unrated: 0:32:48: After Phil tells Stu not to worry all the time and be proud of himself, he also answers in the unrated version.
- Unrated: 0:42:52: The conversation with the "registrar" Eddie continues a little. He offers them women.
- Unrated: 0:45:35: A little more dialog has been implemented into the discussion whether they were supposed to light the police car or not. Alan comes up with the incredible idea, that they could alight a ferret, because they'd love to nibble on gas lines.
- Unrated: 1:09:06: Phil, Stu and Alan are in the elevator with the sleeping tiger, then a curious family joins in.
- Unrated: 1:41:11: Additional scene between Doug and Sid.

To 'Pan & Zoom' or not to 'Pan & Zoom'? |

I'm slowly getting to grips with Resolve and have started a working on a Theatrical Open Matte + Unrated BluRay but I'm unsure as to whether I should keep the BR scenes at their aspect ratio or pan and zoom them so everything is kept at the same 16:9 ratio.
Thoughts please?
